Product recommendations that understand supplements

NutrecoAI is a Shopify app. It adds recommendation sections to your product pages, cart and homepage — “Frequently Bought Together”, “Recommended for You”, “Running Low? Restock Your Stack” — and fills them using AI that knows what each product in your catalogue is actually for: muscle, recovery, energy, fat loss.

Shopify's built-in “related products” shows whatever sits nearby in a collection. This shows the creatine that goes with the protein.

Behind it:

A recommendation engine tuned to perform

Most blocks just show what is popular. Popular is not the same as relevant, and neither one is the same as what earns you money. NutrecoAI scores all three separately, and keeps re-scoring while your store trades.

01

Relevance decides who is in the running

Candidates come from what your shoppers genuinely do together — products bought in the same order carry double weight, products viewed in the same session carry one and a half. A related product always beats an unrelated bestseller, no matter how well that bestseller sells.

02

Then the products that actually convert rise to the top

Every candidate is scored on how much it earns when it gets shown, with recent sales counting for more than old ones. Products that turn attention into orders climb; products that get seen a lot without selling drop away. The ranking chases money earned, not clicks collected — and it re-scores continuously as your store trades.

03

The weights come from your store, not a default

Add-to-carts and clicks feed back into the score, and how much each is worth is derived from your own average order value. A €120 AOV store and a €25 one get different maths, because the same click is worth different money.

New store, no data yet? It falls back to matching on product type and tags, so the sections are useful on day one and improve from there.
Out of stock never shows. Sold-out products are filtered out of every query, so you are never recommending something nobody can buy.

Ten recommendation rows, across three pages

Switch the app embed on once in your theme editor, then choose what appears from your NutrecoAI dashboard — seven switches, at any time. Some drive more than one row: turn on Recommended for You and it runs on all three pages. Two of these rows title themselves after the goal of the product in view — that is where Muscle Support, Weight Management and Daily Essentials appear. Every heading is yours to overwrite.

Product page 5 rows

  • Frequently Bought Together — a bundle priced as a set
  • You might also like — the main recommendation row
  • Muscle Support / Weight Management / Daily Essentials … — the trending row is titled by the goal of the product being viewed. Falls back to Trending Now if the goal is unknown.
  • Recommended for You — personalised, and titled by the shopper's own goal in the same way
  • Running Low? Restock Your Stack — repeat purchases due

Cart 3 rows

  • Complete your order — seeded from the highest-value line in the basket
  • Trending for Athletes — a second row on the athlete goal
  • Recommended for You — personalised, if the shopper is logged in

Homepage 2 rows · opt-in

  • Trending Now — what is selling across the store right now
  • Recommended for You — for a returning shopper, from their own history
  • Off by default — the only page you have to turn on deliberately.

Set up once, in about a minute

There is nothing to configure before it works. The defaults are the recommended settings.

1 — Install

Add it from the App Store

Then flip one switch in your theme editor to turn the widget on. No template edits, no Liquid, no developer.

2 — It reads your catalogue

Every product gets classified

Titles, descriptions and tags are read to work out what each product is for. Classification runs in the background and works through a few hundred products a day — but the sections are live immediately, matching on product type and tags until it catches up.

3 — It starts learning

Ranking improves as people shop

Views, clicks and real orders re-rank the picks continuously, so the recommendations get better the longer it runs.

What's included

All of it, on every plan — including the free one. Plans differ by catalogue size, not by features.

Six goals, recognised automatically

Each product is read from your own title, description and tags, and the section retitles itself to match:

  • Muscle Support
  • Popular After Training
  • Popular Before Training
  • Trending for Athletes
  • Weight Management
  • Daily Essentials

These title the Trending and Recommended for You rows, follow the product in view, and are translated into all 10 storefront languages. Overwrite any of them from your dashboard.

Bundles in one click

A real “frequently bought together” set, priced together and added together, built from what your shoppers genuinely buy in the same order.

Restock reminders

A 30-day tub bought five weeks ago is a reorder waiting to happen. That timing gets surfaced instead of being left to chance.

Revenue you can verify

Orders that came through a recommendation are tagged, so the figure in your dashboard is one you can check against Shopify yourself.

10 storefront languages, 13 in your dashboard

The widget speaks whatever your storefront speaks — English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, Danish. Your own dashboard adds Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Headings stay behavioural rather than making health claims.

No shopper data collected

No names, emails or payment details ever reach us. Anonymous sessions only, hosted in Germany, deleted when you uninstall.

Pricing

Priced on orders per month, not on features — every plan includes everything, the free one included. Every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and the free tier has no expiry at all. You move up a tier when your order volume does; uninstalling cancels the subscription. Billed by Shopify in US dollars.
